DEAF

Seems to be lots to see in and in the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival. Events all around dublin, lots of free talks and events. Once again, hard to know what would be good. Any ideas anyone?

Jim Carroll's blog:

"Banterowe’en: the next Banter takes place on Saturday night from 8.30pm at the Twisted Pepper (Middle Abbey St., Dublin). “90s vs 00s” will see Dublin techno kingpins Francois (repesenting the 1990s) taking on Sunil Sharpe (repping the 00s) about which decade produced the most thrilling sounds and nights out in the capital city. As always, admission is free but capacity in the room is limited so please fill out the form here to guarantee your place."

EDVARD MUNCH: PRINTS

The artsist best know for the scream, Edvard Munch has an exhibition of prints on in the national gallery (merrion square) at the moment. His work is varied, and very different from the one image you probably know of him! well worth a visit.

Its free on Mondays, and 5 euro (3 concession) otherwise.

Innovation Dublin

Slightly related to an earlier post, innovation Dublin is a week long festival that has lots of events in Dublin such as free screenings, talks etc. Their web site is a bit of a maze, but worth checking out to see what's on in your area.
